Submitted by City Engineer Bart Mumford Heber City’s contractor, Geneva Pipe, will soon begin repair work on sections of sewer line in 500 North, between 100 West and 300 West. The work will begin Monday, January 7th, and is anticipated to continue for 6 to 8 weeks. Final road repaving will occur next spring when temperatures allow. Due to the significant depth of the pipe, the work must be done during the winter when groundwater levels are low. Road closures along 500 North will be required, however, local traffic will usually have access to their homes. The contractor will work to minimize disruptions during the construction and residents are requested to not park on the streets when work is occurring nearby.
For specific information regarding the construction and schedule, please contact Jared Wolfgramm with Geneva Rock at 801-592-4570.
The City understands the inconvenience this causes
residents and will work to accommodate special needs
during the repair work.
